SMS Notifications

In or Out SMS Program Disclosure

1. About the Program

In or Out ("we," "us," or "our") offers optional SMS text message notifications to keep you updated on your team's events. SMS is an opt-in feature available to registered account holders. Providing a phone number or opting in to SMS is never a condition of using In or Out or purchasing any goods or services.

2. How Users Opt In

Consent is collected inside the In or Out application, in the account holder's Settings page. Opting in is a deliberate, two-step process:

  1. The user enters their mobile phone number in Settings and verifies ownership by entering a one-time code sent to that number.
  2. After verification, the user enables the SMS Text Messages notification preference. This option is disabled until the phone number has been verified.

3. Message Types

Users who opt in may receive text messages related to:

  • Event notifications and RSVP reminders
  • RSVP status update confirmations
  • AI assistant responses when the user interacts with In or Out via SMS

We do not send marketing or promotional messages. We do not sell, rent, or share phone numbers with third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Message Frequency and Rates

Message frequency varies based on your team's activity and your notification settings. Message and data rates may apply.

5. How to Opt Out

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by either:

  • Replying STOP to any message, or
  • Disabling SMS notifications in your account settings
